Security & Privacy

The safest solar page is the one that wants nothing from you.

Most websites get hacked for the data they hoard. Our protection starts somewhere simpler: we don't collect any. No accounts, no forms, no phone numbers, no payment cards. There is almost nothing here for an attacker to steal — because there is almost nothing here about you. Below is exactly how we keep it that way.

🛡️

No data collection

We do not ask for, store, or sell your name, email, phone number, or address. When you find an installer here, you contact them directly — we never sit in the middle and never hold a database of homeowners to be breached.

💳

No payment handling

We never touch credit cards. Sponsor payments are processed entirely by Stripe on their own secure systems. Card details never reach this site, so they can never leak from it.

🔒

HTTPS everywhere

Every connection is encrypted and forced to HTTPS through HSTS with preload. Your visit cannot be downgraded or intercepted in transit.

🧱

Hardened against injection

A strict Content-Security-Policy, cross-origin isolation, clickjacking protection, and content-type enforcement block the common ways sites get defaced or hijacked.

🍪

No tracking cookies

Our analytics run cookieless, in consent-denied mode by default. No ad cookies, no retargeting, no following you around the web.

Verified installers only

Every sponsored installer is checked against the Florida DBPR license database before going live, and re-verified quarterly. The badge means something because we enforce it.

What we ask of installers — and how we protect them too

Sponsors pay through Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses; we never see or store card numbers. We verify each company's license before activating a placement, which also screens out impostors. And because a placement buys visibility only — never a lead handoff — there's no shared pool of customer data to be exposed.
